My Story
Some professions are not just "practised"; they are lived. Hairdressing and beauty care are among them. To see the way a strand of hair catches the light after a colour, to watch a face reshape itself with a smile after a fresh cut, to feel the weight lift from someone's shoulders as they look in the mirror — these are things that come from attention long before they come from technique.
I am Melek Altıparmak. When you book with me, you are not simply booking a hair appointment or a beauty treatment. You are booking a small, carefully prepared experience — one that has been shaped by years of listening, learning, and genuinely caring about the person in front of me. I have been immersed in the world of style, colour, and form since childhood. Colours have a language of their own; sometimes soft, sometimes bold. I love translating that language into something that truly suits the individual.
Since 2008, I have worked within the beauty industry, gaining experience at prestigious beauty centres — particularly in Istanbul. Those years taught me far more than trends. They taught me about different hair textures, different skin tones, different life rhythms. Some clients arrived saying "I have very little time." Others said "I just want to feel like myself again." In every case, one thing remained constant: when a person feels good, life flows a little more easily.
Today, my approach is clear. I work without a fixed office, by appointment, visiting homes, villas, and private spaces across Kaş and Kalkan. Because some preparations are simply more beautiful in your own space — in front of your own mirror, with your own music playing softly in the background. This is especially true when you are on holiday, hosting guests, preparing for a special evening, or simply carving out a quiet hour of renewal for yourself. Having a professional come to you is not just a convenience; it is a luxury that changes the entire experience.
I also hold a Master Trainer Certificate. This is a mark of someone who understands that this work demands not only skilled hands, but discipline, hygiene, technical knowledge, and the right approach. In every session, I begin by listening: What do you want? What feels right for you? What does your hair or skin actually need right now? Then we plan together. Because the best results do not come from surprises — they come from communication.
For me, beauty is not about fitting someone into a mould. Beauty is about helping a person find what truly suits them. A little light, a little order, a little courage.
And yes — my dream is to carry this work further, to reach a wider circle of people, and to spread not just beauty, but a message of well-being and peace. Because when we treat ourselves with kindness, we look at the world with a softer gaze.

Why No Fixed Office?
I chose not to have a fixed office because I believe the greatest luxury in beauty is not the marble counter or the designer chair — it is time and comfort.
In the villas of Kalkan and the hidden corners of Kaş, the best mirror is the one you already have. By coming to you, I remove the rush, the waiting, and the noise. There is no parking to find, no appointment running late, no stranger sitting beside you. It is simply you, your beauty ritual, and the quiet of your own space.
I work by appointment only. This means every client receives my full, undivided attention — no rushing, no cutting corners, no compromises on hygiene or quality. Each session is planned, calm, and entirely yours.
